An aggressive market-timing strategy that usually bets hard on Nasdaq gains, but switches to volatility, bearish Nasdaq funds, or Treasury bonds when markets look overheated or weak.
NutHow it works
This strategy mostly makes one big bet at a time. It first asks: is the overall U.S. stock market in a healthy uptrend? If yes, it usually buys TQQQ, a very aggressive fund that amplifies moves in the Nasdaq-100 (big tech/growth stocks). If the market looks overheated, it may switch into UVXY, a fund that tends to jump when fear and volatility spike. If the market is weaker, it looks for either a rebound trade (buying aggressive stock funds after sharp drops) or a defensive move into funds that profit when the Nasdaq falls, or into long-term U.S. Treasury bonds.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
