About

A very aggressive, rules‑based swing strategy in leveraged ETFs. It rides tech uptrends (TQQQ), buys sharp dips, and hedges or shorts (UVXY, SQQQ, PSQ) when markets look overheated or weak, sometimes parking in Treasuries (TLT).
NutHow it works
First, a market filter: if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its 200‑day average, it’s risk‑on; otherwise risk‑off. It then uses RSI (a 10‑day “hot/cold” score) and short/long‑term averages to decide: - Risk‑on: usually TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100); if overheated it flips to UVXY (volatility); after huge multi‑year gains it shorts via PSQ or mixes PSQ+TLT (Treasuries). - Risk‑off: buys quick dips (TECL/UPRO) or, if weakness persists, uses SQQQ or TLT.
CheckmarkValue prop
Strong OOS upside: 62.5% annualized vs SPY ~19.6%, with Calmar ~1.25. 3x tech bets + hedges aim for big gains while protecting in downturns - though drawdowns can be ~50% vs SPY's ~19%.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
