A very aggressive daily trading strategy that mainly bets on leveraged US tech, but switches into fear trades, bonds, or cash-like holdings when conditions look overheated, weak, or panicky.
NutHow it works
This strategy checks the market every day and mostly makes a big bet on US tech stocks, especially the Nasdaq-100. If the market trend looks healthy, it usually buys TQQQ, a fund that aims to move about 3 times as much as the Nasdaq-100 each day. If the market looks too hot or panic is rising, it may switch into UVXY (which tends to jump when fear spikes), TLT (long-term US bonds), BIL (cash-like T-bills), or even SQQQ, which rises when the Nasdaq falls. After a sharp recent drop in QQQ, it adds a “dump catcher” sleeve that either tries to buy a rebound in semiconductor stocks with SOXL or becomes more defensive if volatility is high.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
