About

A multi‑strategy, rules‑based portfolio that rides stock/tech momentum in good times, buys dips selectively, and quickly shifts to cash/T‑Bills, Treasuries, gold, dollar, volatility or inverse ETFs when stress rises—plus KMLM/long‑short sleeves for diversification.
NutHow it works
It’s a rules‑driven “copilot.” When the market trends up and stays calm, it rides momentum (often tech‑heavy, sometimes with leverage like TQQQ/SOXL/UPRO). If fear rises or bonds beat stocks, it shifts to protection (T‑Bills, Treasuries, gold, U.S. dollar) or hedges (inverse/volatility funds). It also uses RSI (a quick “stretched or washed‑out” gauge) to buy dips or add short‑term hedges. KMLM adds trend‑following in commodities/rates/FX for diversification.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets far higher upside than the S&P: ~47.6% annualized vs ~18.7% for SPY, with hedges (treasuries, gold, cash) and trend/diversifiers. Calmar ~1.07; bigger drawdowns in stress, but rapid risk-off protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
