About

A fast, tactical “switcher of switchers” that rides tech-led uptrends with leveraged funds, buys big dips, and pivots to hedges (short/volatility) or diversifiers (bonds, gold, dollar, commodities, managed futures like KMLM) when stress hits.
NutHow it works
It’s a “many-mini-systems” trader. First it checks market weather: trend (price vs 200‑day average), short‑term “temperature” (RSI: 0–100; hot>80, cold<30), volatility and drawdowns. Then it picks a stance: - Uptrend: ride leaders (big tech/semis) using leveraged funds (e.g., TQQQ/TECL/SOXL). - Sharp selloff: buy the dip (RSI very low). - Overheating/panic: hedge with volatility funds (UVXY/VIXY) or go short (SQQQ/SPXU). - Choppy/down: shift to Treasuries, gold, US dollar (UUP), commodities, or KMLM (managed-futures). Finally, it splits money across the few that worked best recently and rechecks often.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~43% annualized return vs SPY's ~18%, with solid risk management (Calmar ~0.96) despite higher beta; diversified hedges/rotations dampen drawdowns and unlock meaningful upside in tech-led uptrends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
