About

A rules‑driven “meta” strategy that rides tech uptrends and buys deep dips, then quickly shifts to cash/Treasuries/dollar/gold, managed‑futures (KMLM), or shorts/volatility when fear or downtrends hit. Uses many mini‑playbooks and leveraged ETFs; very risky.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks: trend (price vs 200‑day avg), stretch (RSI: a 0–100 “how overbought/oversold” score; <30=dip, >70–80=overheated), size of recent moves, and fear (VIX). It then flips among: risk‑on (TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO); dip‑buys in the same; risk‑off (cash/Treasuries/dollar/gold/KMLM); or shorts/vol (SQQQ/SPXU/SOXS/UVXY). Small sleeves also pick recent mega‑cap winners. Often favors sleeves that did best in ~20 days.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~51% vs S&P ~21%, with Calmar ~1.61 and Sharpe ~1.14—strong risk-adjusted upside and crisis diversification from managed futures and tactical hedges. Higher upside, but expect larger drawdowns in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
