A very aggressive all-in trading strategy that usually flips between 3x bullish or bearish tech funds, with special overrides that buy or short semiconductors when the Nasdaq looks extremely washed out or overheated.

This strategy is an aggressive switcher that is always 100% in one leveraged bet. First, it watches QQQ (the Nasdaq-100). If QQQ has fallen very hard recently, it buys SOXL, a 3x bullish semiconductor fund. If QQQ looks extremely overheated, it buys SOXS, a 3x bearish semiconductor fund. If neither extreme is present, it switches to tech stocks instead: it chooses between TECL (3x up on tech) and TECS (3x down on tech). It compares tech’s recent strength to KMLM, a managed-futures fund used here as a defensive yardstick.

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
