About

Rides strong tech uptrends with 3x Nasdaq/S&P funds (esp. TQQQ), but quickly cuts risk to cash, Treasuries, anti‑Nasdaq, or “fear” ETFs when warning lights flash. Many safety checks and daily rebalancing to stay on the right side of the trend.
NutHow it works
It constantly checks if stocks are trending up and calm. If yes, it buys a turbocharged Nasdaq fund (TQQQ). If only okay, it may use similar tech/S&P turbo funds (TECL, UPRO). If danger shows or things get overheated, it moves to defense: cash‑like T‑Bills (BIL), Treasuries (IEF/TLT), anti‑Nasdaq funds (PSQ/SQQQ), or a “fear” fund that often jumps in sell‑offs (VIXY/UVXY). It runs 10 quick tests (fast gains vs bumpiness, price above/below averages, RSI speedometer: 0–100). It holds the few that test best and rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tech-heavy trend strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.55 vs ~1.22, Calmar ~2.92) with amplified Nasdaq upside and rapid risk hedging, outperforming the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted terms.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
