About

Default is cash‑like T‑Bills. It shorts the tech‑heavy Nasdaq‑100 (via 2x inverse QID) only when bonds are trending up (TLT above its 200‑day average) and the Nasdaq looks extremely overbought (10‑day RSI of QLD > 79).
NutHow it works
It sits in a cash‑like T‑Bill fund (BIL). It only flips to a 2x inverse Nasdaq‑100 fund (QID) when: (1) long‑term Treasuries (TLT) are in an uptrend (price > 200‑day avg), and (2) the Nasdaq is very hot (10‑day RSI of QLD > 79). Why: TLT gates risk; QLD (2x long) makes the heat test stricter; QID executes the short. RSI = 0–100 heat score; high = overbought. Nasdaq‑100 = big US tech.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers superior risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P: near-zero market beta, very high Calmar/Sharpe, and negligible drawdowns, with cash-like risk until rare, disciplined Nasdaq-100 shorts.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
