About

Aggressive, three‑sleeve switcher that trades 3× tech/semiconductor bulls and bears (plus UVXY) using “too hot/too cold” signals and a long‑term trend filter. Equal‑weight sleeves. Aims to ride trends and catch pullbacks. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Your money is split into 3 equal sleeves and switched using simple signals. Key ideas: RSI (a 0–100 “too hot/too cold” gauge: ~80=overbought, ~30=oversold) and a 200‑day trendline for SPY (uptrend vs downtrend). 1) Nasdaq sleeve: chooses TQQQ (3× Nasdaq‑100 big tech), SQQQ (its inverse), or UVXY (volatility spikes) based on those gauges. 2) Semis sleeve: flips SOXL/SOXS similarly. 3) Tech sleeve: flips TECL/TECS similarly. If growth breaks, it can park in TLT (long US Treasuries). Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 1.41 vs SPY 1.01; Calmar 2.18; annualized return ~117% vs ~18% for SPY. Higher risk-adjusted upside and strong tech/semis trends, but expect larger drawdowns (53.5% vs 18.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
