About

Moves to UVXY when the market looks overheated; otherwise splits among Nasdaq, Semis, and Tech, flipping between 3× bull and 3× bear funds based on short‑ vs long‑term momentum. Tech‑heavy, tactical, and extremely high risk.
NutHow it works
RSI is a 0–100 gauge of how fast prices have risen/fallen lately; ~80 = very “hot.” If SPY/QQQ or key sectors look “too hot” (RSI ~80+), it puts 100% in UVXY (goes up when fear/volatility jumps). Otherwise it splits money into three switches—Nasdaq, Semis, Tech—and in each it picks a 3× bull fund (TQQQ/SOXL/TECL) or a 3× bear fund (SQQQ/SOXS/TECS) by comparing very short‑term vs slightly longer‑term moves. If short‑term is overheating, it goes bear; otherwise bull. One tech path parks in T‑bills (BIL). Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.2 vs SPY ~1.0; Calmar ~1.4; annualized return ~80–90% vs ~17%. Tech/semis with a volatility hedge offers outsized upside and better risk-adjusted gains than the S&P 500, though drawdowns can be larger in stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
