About

Either 100% UVXY when markets look overheated, or split across Nasdaq, semis, and tech using 3x ETFs—stay in bull funds unless recent gains are extreme, then switch to the bear to bet on a pullback. Very high risk/volatility.
NutHow it works
Step 1: If the market looks very “overheated” over the last ~10 days (measured by a heat score called RSI on SPY/QQQ and several sectors), go 100% into UVXY, a fund that usually jumps when stocks suddenly drop. Step 2: If not overheated, split money across 3 sleeves: Nasdaq‑100 (TQQQ/SQQQ), Semiconductors (SOXL/SOXS), and Technology (TECL/TECS). In each sleeve, default to the 3x bull fund. But if the underlying index just ran up “too much, too fast” (big gains over 1, 5, 25, or 125 days), flip to the 3x bear fund to bet on a pullback.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~59% annualized vs ~18% S&P; Calmar ~0.95, Sharpe ~0.97. UVXY hedge in overheated markets; otherwise tilt to 3x tech/semis. Higher risk, higher potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
