A high-risk strategy that usually bets hard on tech, but flips to bearish positions after sharp run-ups and moves fully into volatility when the market looks extremely overheated.

This is a very aggressive market-timing strategy. First, it checks whether the overall market or key sectors look unusually overheated using a momentum gauge called RSI, which measures how stretched recent buying has been. If things look extremely hot, it buys UVXY, a product that tends to rise when market fear jumps. If not, it splits money equally into 3 areas: Nasdaq 100, semiconductors, and technology. In each area, if prices have risen too far too fast over the last 1, 5, or 25 days, it buys a bearish 3x fund. Otherwise, it buys the bullish 3x version.

Dynamic, tactical tech/semis/volatility strategy. OOS return ~15.2% with Sharpe ~0.57 and Calmar ~0.25 over 856 days. Adds diversification and potential outsized moves the S&P misses, but with higher drawdown (~61%). Best as a satellite to core S&P 500.
