About

Times a short bet on big tech when QQQ looks overbought (RSI>80). Buys inverse 3x tech/semiconductor funds and sometimes UVXY; otherwise sits in T‑Bills. Chooses recent movers over 5/10/15 days and spreads across them.
NutHow it works
It watches QQQ (a big‑tech index). RSI is a simple “heat gauge” of recent gains; >80 means stretched. When that happens, it bets on a pullback by buying inverse, leveraged funds that jump when tech falls: SQQQ (−3x Nasdaq‑100), SOXS (−3x semis), TECS (−3x tech), and sometimes UVXY (levered VIX). Otherwise it parks in BIL (T‑Bills). It picks recent movers over 5/10/15 days by volatility, return, and momentum, then splits across them. Very risky, short‑term.
CheckmarkValue prop
Risk-managed edge: out-of-sample drawdown ~5.2% vs SPY ~18.8%, Calmar ~1.49, and ~7.8% annualized return. Lower downside, steadier tech-focused performance in volatile markets vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
