About
Two-sleeve, monthly tactical mix: one toggles between Bitcoin or the U.S. dollar (or a single defensive pick) using bond trend and buy-the-dip signals; the other uses a junk-bond “canary” to switch between S&P 500, long Treasuries, or a safety basket.
Split 50/50 and rebalanced monthly.
Sleeve A: If bonds rose recently, hold the stronger of Bitcoin (GBTC) or the U.S. dollar (USDU) by recent trend. If bonds are weak, buy one “beaten‑down” diversifier (from gold, tech, dollar, short‑term TIPS, a volatility‑income fund, or a rate‑spike hedge).
Sleeve B: 60% uses a “canary”: if junk bonds beat T‑Bills, own the S&P 500 (SPY); else own long Treasuries (TLT) if rising, otherwise a safety mix (gold/staples/short‑term Treasuries/USD). 40% always stays in that safety mix.
Out-of-sample edge: ~24% annualized return vs ~18% for the S&P, drawdown ~11.7% vs ~18.8%, Sharpe ~1.28 vs ~1.02, and Calmar ~2.05. Diversified, regime-aware two-sleeve rotation aims for higher, steadier growth with less risk.
