About

A fast, rules‑based “gas/brake” system: ride 3x big‑tech/semis when trends are healthy, buy dips selectively, and quickly retreat to T‑Bills/Treasuries or hedges when stress hits. Includes a dedicated bond‑momentum sleeve. High risk due to leveraged ETFs.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: are stocks trending calmly, overstretched, or stressed? It judges by recent % moves, price vs its average line, a 0–100 “heat” score (RSI: high=overbought, low=oversold), and volatility. If clear, it rides amplified tech/broad‑market funds like TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100), UPRO (3x S&P 500) or SOXL (3x semis). On sharp dips it buys selectively. Under stress it shifts to T‑Bills (BIL), Treasuries (TMF, 3x long) or hedges (SQQQ 3x short Nasdaq, VIXY volatility, BTAL anti‑beta). A 200‑day SPY switch and a separate sleeve trend‑trade bonds (TMF vs TMV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~45.5% annualized return vs SPY's ~21.3%, Calmar ~0.96, solid risk controls. Tech/beta leverage with rapid risk-off hedges seeks higher growth while actively protecting capital versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
