About

An aggressive, rules‑based trader that toggles between 3x tech/S&P exposure, long/short Treasuries, cash‑like T‑bills, and hedges based on trend, volatility, drawdowns, and RSI. It buys deep dips, hedges in stress, and cuts risk when trends break. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: Risk‑On or Defense? Risk‑On (calm/uptrend): buy TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) or other 3x tech/S&P; sometimes pair with TMF (long Treasuries). Defense (vol spikes, big drops, trend breaks): rotate to BIL (T‑bills), TMF/TMV (bonds), BTAL (market‑neutral), VIXY, or SQQQ (inverse QQQ). Signals used: trend (price vs moving average), drawdowns, volatility, and RSI (0–100 gauge of overbought/oversold). It buys sharp dips and fades extreme rips.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is compelling: ~46.9% annualized vs ~21.3% for the S&P. With built‑in risk controls and hedges, it targets bigger long‑term gains while managing stress, though downturns may bring larger drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
