About
A very aggressive daily market-timing strategy that chases tech and other fast movers in good markets, but switches to cash, bonds, or hedges when signs of danger appear.
This strategy checks the market every day and asks: is it safe to be aggressive, or should we hide?
If big tech and the stock market look healthy, it buys aggressive funds like TQQQ, UPRO, SOXL, or TECL.
If the market looks overheated, falling hard, or unusually chaotic, it moves into safer places like short-term Treasury funds, bonds, gold, the U.S. dollar, or hedges that can rise when stocks fall.
Out-of-sample annualized return ~35.9% vs SPY ~19.9%, driven by dynamic timing and hedges that ride rallies and shield in downturns. Note higher drawdowns; best for high-risk, experienced investors seeking alpha beyond the S&P 500.
