About

A daily‑rebalanced, tech‑tilted, risk‑managed portfolio. It rides trends in stocks and long Treasuries, parks in cash/defensives when trends weaken, uses managed futures for diversification, and adds VIX or short‑tech hedges at extremes to smooth drawdowns.
NutHow it works
It blends 6 sleeves and rebalances daily. The core rotates among tech (QQQ), long Treasuries (TLT), utilities/gold, and cash; it adds a VIX hedge (VIXY/UVXY) when markets look overheated. A bond‑momentum sleeve rides long bonds (TMF) when trends favor them. A fast tech sleeve buys/shorts QQQ on short‑term signals. A managed‑futures sleeve (KMLM) is a diversifier when its 20‑day trend is up. An EM sleeve flips between bull/bear. Signals use RSI (0–100 “hot/cold”) and moving‑averages.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: 12.8% annualized return with positive Sharpe (~0.55) and Calmar ~0.83. A diversified, tech tilt with volatility hedges and managed futures for inflation/volatility resilience vs SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
