About

A daily, semiconductor‑only, mean‑reversion strategy: buy 3x bull SOXL when it’s oversold; else buy 3x bear SOXS when it’s oversold; otherwise hold SMH (unlevered chip ETF).
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent moves; below 30 ≈ “fallen hard”). SOXL = 3x long chip stocks (e.g., Nvidia, AMD, TSMC). SOXS = 3x short the same stocks. If SOXL’s RSI < 30, buy SOXL (rebound bet). Else if SOXS’s RSI < 30, buy SOXS (pullback bet). Otherwise hold SMH, a regular semiconductor ETF. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
OOS semis mean-reversion: ~90% annualized return vs ~29% S&P, Calmar ~2.34, but ~39% drawdown. Higher risk, higher upside, with clear alpha.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
