About

A daily-rebalanced, levered multi-asset strategy targeting semis/tech upside (SOXL/TECL/TQQQ/SPXL) with hedges into bonds and volatility ETFs to manage risk; uses RSI and moving-average signals to pick a top asset from a large pool and rotate into defense when risk rises.
NutHow it works
Every day, the strategy evaluates signals across a large hierarchy of groups. If momentum and trend signals on semiconductor and technology names look favorable (for example, certain RSI levels or moving-average conditions on SOXL/TECL/TQQQ/SPXL), it tends to place full exposure on one of these levered ETFs. If signals indicate risk-off or overbought conditions, it rotates into defensive holdings (Treasuries via TMF/TLT, SHY, or bond-like positions) and sometimes hedges volatility exposure with UVXY or bear ETFs (SOXS, SQQQ). The system uses filters to pick the single strongest or most favorable asset from a set (often the top/bottom ranked by moving-average return or cumulative return) and then weights the position heavily (often 100% in that picked asset) for that day’s rebound. There are additional sub-strategies that blend multiple signals (RSI windows, moving-average crossovers, and relative strength against broad benchmarks like SPY). The design aims to capture big moves in semis/tech when conditions align, while stepping to safety assets when risk indicators rise. In short: it’s a fast-moving, levered, multi-asset tactical system that chases semis/tech up with leverage but rotates into Treasuries and hedges when risk grows.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~133% annualized return with Calmar ~2.79, higher risk-adjusted gains than SPY. Levered semis/tech with tactical hedges seeks bigger upside and rotates to Treasuries to help curb downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
