About

A daily, rules-based swing trader that rides big uptrends in chip/tech stocks with 3x ETFs (often SOXL) and quickly flips to 3x bear funds, bond trades, or hedges when conditions worsen. Uses bond trends and volatility spikes to decide. Avoids K‑1 via PDBC.
NutHow it works
Daily, it checks if chip stocks and the overall market have been rising or falling lately, and how calm or fearful the market looks. If chips/tech are trending up, it buys a 3x “bull” fund (often SOXL). If momentum fades or fear jumps, it flips to a 3x “bear” fund (like SOXS) or to bond trades tied to interest-rate trends (TMF/TMV). It can also hedge with a volatility note (VXX) or rotate into safer or commodity funds (PDBC).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets far higher upside (oos ~110% vs S&P ~28%) with solid risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ~2.33, Sharpe ~1.22). It leverages semiconductors/tech and hedges to beat the S&P, accepting larger drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
