About

An aggressive, tactical system that uses a “hot/cold” RSI gauge to flip between volatility spikes (UVXY/VXX), dip‑buying in leveraged tech/semis, defensive diversifiers (KMLM/long‑short/dollar/T‑bills), bond bounces, and occasional crypto rebound picks. Very high risk.
NutHow it works
It uses a simple “hot/cold” gauge (RSI: 0–100 based on recent up vs down days). High RSI (>~80) = overheated, so it shifts into fear/volatility funds (UVXY/VXX), scaling up if more sectors flash hot. Low RSI (<~30) = washed out, so it buys the dip in 3x tech/semis/biotech. If neither, it rotates into steadier diversifiers (KMLM managed futures, long/short, dollar, or T‑bills) and sometimes bond bounces (TMF). It may also take a quick rebound bet in one Bitcoin‑linked name (CONL/BITX/MSTR).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets far higher upside (~90% annualized) with solid risk control (Calmar ~1.37) and diversified hedges, versus SPY’s ~24% annualized with smaller drawdowns—though extreme-market drawdowns can be larger.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
