About
A high-risk strategy that mainly bets on leveraged U.S. technology when conditions look good, but shifts into T-bills, bonds, volatility protection, or sometimes a bearish Nasdaq fund when markets look overheated or weak.
This strategy is a fast-moving market timing system. It first asks: is the U.S. stock market healthy or weak?
If healthy, it usually buys a turbo-charged technology fund (TECL). But if stocks look too overheated, it steps aside into Treasury bills (BIL) and sometimes a small volatility hedge (UVXY).
If the market is weak, it may still buy sharp dips for a rebound. Otherwise it moves to safer assets, or occasionally a bearish Nasdaq fund if downside pressure looks stronger.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted returns: Sharpe 1.54 vs 1.08, Calmar 3.27, annualized return ~118% vs ~18% for SPY, with hedges and regime switches to limit drawdowns. Tech-focused, dynamic risk controls.
