About

Own the three S&P 500 sectors with the strongest 2‑month performance, equal‑weighted and rebalanced monthly, using the SPDR sector ETFs (e.g., XLK, XLV, XLF, XLI, XLY, XLP, XLE, XLB, XLC, XLU, XLRE).
NutHow it works
Each month, it checks how much each S&P 500 sector rose over the last ~40 trading days (~2 months). The sectors are: Technology (XLK), Health Care (XLV), Financials (XLF), Industrials (XLI), Consumer Discretionary (XLY), Consumer Staples (XLP), Energy (XLE), Materials (XLB), Communication Services (XLC), Utilities (XLU), Real Estate (XLRE). It buys the 3 that gained the most and splits money equally until next month.
CheckmarkValue prop
Momentum sector rotation: monthly top-3 sector bets. In out-of-sample tests it delivers a lower beta (~0.74), comparable drawdowns (~18.4%), and solid risk-adjusted performance (Sharpe ~1.22) vs SPY’s higher but more correlated 22% return.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
