About

A daily, rules‑based, multi‑asset rotation. It buys leveraged S&P/Nasdaq when trends look healthy, and rotates to Treasuries, gold, the U.S. dollar, defensive sectors, or VIX/short ETFs when stress rises. Also times Treasury trends and uses momentum across assets.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks trend (above/below a 200‑day average), “heat” (a 0–100 gauge called RSI: high=overheated, low=oversold), and volatility. If calm/uptrend, it buys growth stocks (S&P 500, Nasdaq, tech—often with leverage). If shaky, it shifts to bonds, gold, the U.S. dollar and low‑risk stocks. If panic, it adds crash insurance (VIX funds) or bear funds. A bond sleeve flips long/short Treasuries as rates rise/fall. A small momentum sleeve owns recent winners.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: similar upside to the S&P 500 with notably lower risk—beta ~0.75, max drawdown 15.38% vs 18.76%, Calmar 1.29, OOS Sharpe ~1.12 vs SPY ~1.16—delivering resilience and steadier gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
