About

An adaptive, All‑Weather‑style portfolio that rotates among tech growth, Treasuries, cash, gold/commodities, and volatility hedges. It uses leveraged and inverse ETFs to ride uptrends and hedge panics, aiming to beat the S&P 500 over time. High risk.
NutHow it works
Think of it as a weather-aware portfolio. - If “fear” is rising, it shifts defensive: T‑bills/short‑term bonds, the U.S. dollar, gold, or funds that go up when stocks or long‑term bonds fall. - If markets are calm and trending up, it rides growth with funds that magnify tech and chip stocks (like 3x versions of QQQ/technology). - After quick drops, it can buy the dip in those same growth funds—only if safety checks look okay. - A bond engine adds or removes long‑term Treasuries (sometimes with 3x leverage) depending on whether rates are falling or rising; in rising‑rate trouble it may hold cash, the dollar, or short Treasuries instead. - A small sleeve owns gold/commodities only when they’re in uptrends. - A “crash catcher” parks assets in short‑term bonds whenever the S&P 500 breaks down or volatility gets extreme. Everything uses regular ETFs (no K‑1 forms). It does use leveraged and inverse ETFs, so expect bigger ups and downs.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
