This strategy spreads money across 5 buckets: growth stocks, bonds, gold/commodities, U.S. dollar, and crash protection. It constantly checks simple market “weather gauges” like trend, recent heat, and drawdowns. If markets look strong, it leans into aggressive stock funds. If markets look shaky, it rotates toward bonds, gold, the dollar, defensive stock sectors, or volatility funds that can rise when markets panic.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
