About

A Dragon‑style, multi‑asset strategy that rotates among stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/USD, and “crash insurance.” It buys strength, buys some dips, and adds volatility hedges—aiming to work in booms and busts. Uses some leveraged and inverse ETFs.
NutHow it works
It spreads money across 5 sleeves: growth stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/US dollar, and crash insurance (volatility/anti‑beta). Each day it checks trend, overbought/oversold (a heat gauge), recent drops, and 3–6‑mo momentum to tilt and hedge. In calm uptrends it may use leverage; in stress it shifts to gold, dollar, Treasuries, or volatility.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Dragon strategy: 29.8% annualized return vs 22% S&P; Sharpe ~1.84 vs ~1.35; Calmar ~2.27; max drawdown 13.1% vs 18.8%. Diversified sleeves with trend/hedges aim for higher upside with lower risk than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
