About
A Dragon‑style, all‑weather portfolio that rotates among stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/USD, trend tilts, and crash insurance. It leans into winners in calm uptrends and adds volatility, dollar, and defensive hedges in turmoil. Uses some 3x ETFs; rebalances daily.
Your money is split across five buckets: growth stocks, Treasuries, “fiat alternatives” (gold/commodities/U.S. dollar), trend/momentum tilts, and crash insurance (volatility and anti‑beta funds). It adds offense when prices trend up (above long‑term averages) and buys hedges when the fear gauge jumps or after fast drops (RSI = short‑term hot/cold). Uses some 3x ETFs. Rebalances daily.
Out-of-sample, this all-weather Dragon portfolio outperforms the S&P with 30.3% annualized return vs 21.6%, higher Sharpe (1.89 vs 1.35), and smaller drawdowns (13.1% vs 18.8%). Diversified hedges and trend tilts drive the edge.
