About
A dynamic Dragon‑style portfolio that balances growth with explicit crash hedges. It rotates using trend and overbought/oversold signals across stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities, the U.S. dollar, and VIX products; sometimes uses 3x ETFs.
Splits money into 5 sleeves: growth stocks, bonds, commodities/gold/US dollar, a trend follower, and crash protection. It tilts using simple signals: trend (price vs recent average), a heat gauge called RSI (high=hot, low=washed‑out), recent drops, and volatility. In calm/rising markets it owns stocks (often tech; sometimes 3x funds). When overheated or falling fast, it adds hedges (VIX ETFs, Treasuries, gold, USD) or inverse funds. Leverage adds risk.
Out-of-sample edge: higher risk-adjusted returns with lower drawdowns vs SPY. OOS Sharpe ~1.76 vs 1.41, annualized return ~31.7% vs 22.5%, beta ~0.86, Calmar ~2.22, diversified, crash-hedged growth that scales with upside.
