About
A rules-based, all‑weather portfolio. It rotates among US stocks (often 3×), Treasuries (long or short), gold/commodities, the US dollar, and volatility hedges using simple trend, RSI, momentum, and drawdown rules to aim for resilience in booms and busts.
Your money is split into 5 jobs: growth (stocks), bonds/rates, gold–commodities–US dollar, a trend sleeve that buys recent winners, and crisis hedges. Simple rules flip each job on/off: trend (price vs moving average), RSI (overheated ≈ 80, washed-out ≈ 30), momentum (last months), and drawdowns. In calm uptrends it holds growth (often 3× funds); in stress it shifts to bonds, gold/USD, or VIX hedges. Uses leveraged ETFs; risk is high.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher annualized returns (29.2% vs 22.5%), stronger risk-adjusted performance (Sharpe 1.80 vs 1.41; Calmar 2.13) and lower drawdowns (13.7% vs 18.8%), with diversified, rules-based all-weather resilience vs the S&P 500.
