About

A daily‑adaptive, “all‑weather” portfolio. It rides uptrends in stocks, and when conditions worsen it pivots to bonds, gold, the US dollar, and hedges (including some 3x and short ETFs) to aim for resilience across booms and busts.
NutHow it works
Daily, the portfolio splits money across 5 sleeves: growth stocks, gold/commodities, bonds, trend timers, and crisis hedges. Simple rules check trend (moving averages), “hot/cold” readings (RSI), and recent drops. When trends are strong it leans into growth (incl. 3x funds); when weak it shifts to bonds, gold, dollar, or hedges (shorts/vol).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 23.79% annualized return vs 22.01%; Sharpe 1.74 vs 1.35; max drawdown 12.01% vs 18.76%. Diversified, all-weather strategy delivering stronger risk-adjusted growth and lower downside than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
