About

A daily, K‑1‑free, multi‑asset strategy that cuts risk when stocks get hot or fearful and seeks steady carry in calm times using VIX hedges, gold, USD, T‑bills, bank loans, utilities, and commodities; occasionally pairs levered QQQ with bonds.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks three things: heat (RSI = a speedometer), fear (VIX funds), and choppiness (volatility and worst recent drop). If heat/fear jump or seas get rough, it raises shields: VXX, GLD, USDU, BIL/USFR, BTAL. If calm, it harvests carry: SVOL, bank loans (BKLN/FTSL), utilities (XLU), commodities (PDBC). A small sleeve sometimes pairs levered QQQ long/short with bonds. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 2.03 vs S&P 1.28; drawdown 5.11% vs 18.76%; Calmar 2.28; 11.63% annualized return. Superior risk-adjusted performance with capital protection, diversified hedges, and daily, K‑1‑free rebalancing.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
