It first reads market tone: is SPY above/below its 50/200-day trend lines and are losses big (drawdown = drop from a recent peak)? If risk-on, it rides 3x tech funds (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq-100; SOXL=3x semis; TECL/UPRO=3x tech/S&P). If momentum looks “too hot” (RSI, a 0–100 speed gauge) or after big spikes/drops, it flips to hedges (SQQQ/SOXS=3x inverse; UVXY=volatility) or parks in short-term bonds/cash (BSV/BIL). A bonds-vs-QQQ test also gates when to go aggressive.
