About

Daily, safety‑first momentum that flips between leveraged U.S. stocks when trends are strong and defensive assets (Treasuries, cash, USD, commodities, utilities, gold) when canary warnings flash from tech vs utilities, volatility, and bond signals.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks market health with simple trend and “canary” tests: S&P 500 vs its moving averages (trend lines), tech vs utilities, bond/TIP trends, and volatility spikes (RSI, a 0–100 “speedometer”). If healthy, it buys the 2–3 strongest U.S. equity plays (often 3x ETFs or top mega‑cap stocks). If not, it rotates to Treasuries, cash, USD, commodities, utilities or gold that are rising. It runs many lookbacks and only funds the versions that have worked best lately.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this adaptive momentum strategy beats SPY on risk-adjusted return: Sharpe 1.61 vs 1.42, Calmar ~1.50, and annualized return ~43.46% vs ~23.68%, leveraging regime shifts to capture trends.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
