About

Rules-based, multi-asset portfolio. Rides tech-led uptrends, adds a small VIX hedge when markets look overheated, and shifts to cash/bonds or inverse funds when trends break. Also runs commodity, gold, oil, nat gas, and REIT sleeves. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
It’s a rulebook. When stocks trend up, it owns growth‑heavy funds (mainly QQQ/TQQQ). If they look overheated, it briefly adds a volatility hedge (VXX). If trends break, it moves to T‑bills (BIL), Treasuries (TLT/TMF/TMV), or inverse funds (PSQ/SQQQ). Separate sleeves hold commodities (DBC/XME), gold (GLD), oil (DBO), and natural gas only when their trends are healthy. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified, rules-based strategy blending tech growth with hedges and cross-asset sleeves. Seeks steadier risk-adjusted growth and regime resilience in out-of-sample tests (Sharpe ~0.78, Calmar ~1.28, ~9.8% annualized) versus SPY’s raw gains.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
