About

A simple, low‑cost, all‑stock portfolio: 75% U.S. stocks (VTI) and 25% international stocks (VXUS). It owns most of the global market with a U.S. tilt. Diversified but not “safe” in the conservative sense—expect normal stock ups and downs.
NutHow it works
It buys two broad index funds and holds them: 75% in VTI (almost all U.S. stocks) and 25% in VXUS (stocks outside the U.S.). That gives you thousands of companies worldwide, with a tilt to the U.S. There’s no automatic rebalancing, so the mix may drift over time.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show a simple 75/25 global equity mix beats the S&P 500: annualized return ~19.9% vs 18.5%, Sharpe ~1.19 vs 1.04, and max drawdown ~17.4% vs 18.8%. Low-cost, diversified, with a US tilt.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
