About
Safety‑first, rules‑based plan: sit in T‑bills most of the time, add a small volatility hedge when markets run hot, and only take aggressive rebound bets (3× stocks or short‑vol) in rare selloffs.
It watches a 10‑day “speedometer” (RSI) on QQQ, XLK, VOOG, and SPY. If any look very hot, it puts a small slice (~15%) into “fear” funds (VIX)—mild (VIXM) if just hot, or aggressive (UVXY) if extremely hot.
If not hot and things look washed out, it aims for rebounds using TECL/SPXL or a bet that fear will fall (SVIX), whichever looks stronger.
Otherwise it sits in T‑bills/bonds (BIL/BSV).
Out-of-sample annualized return ~22% vs SPY ~18%, driven by a safety-first core and adaptive hedges that capture rebounds. Note: risk-adjusted return is lower and drawdowns can be larger in stress (Calmar ~0.94).
