About
Daily “heat check” on big US stocks. When markets run hot, it mostly stays in cash and sometimes adds a small VIXM hedge; when they’re washed out, it makes a brief, high‑octane rebound bet; otherwise it sits in T‑bills.
Each day it checks a 10‑day RSI (0–100 of how fast price moved; high=hot, low=cold) on QQQ, XLK, VOOG, SPY (big US tech/growth barometers). If one is very hot, it mostly sits in cash and may put ~15% in VIXM (a volatility hedge). If none are hot: if deeply oversold, it takes a short, aggressive rebound bet in TECL or SPXL/SVXY; otherwise it parks in BIL T‑bills. Note: uses leveraged/volatility ETFs; risk can be high.
Out-of-sample annualized return ~34.5% vs SPY ~22.2%, with Calmar ~1.47. Uses cash/T-bill ballast and selective rebound bets to capture large upside in extremes while keeping risk disciplined, delivering stronger risk-adjusted performance than the S&P 500.
