About

If major market/sector ETFs look overheated (RSI > ~80), switch 100% into UVXY to bet on a pullback. Otherwise ride short‑term uptrends: TQQQ first, then TECL, else SOXX. Concentrated, leveraged, and very high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day: if a 10‑day “heat gauge” (RSI; >~80 = very hot) says SPY, QQQ, VTV, VOX, XLP, or XLF is overheated, go 100% to UVXY, which tends to jump when stocks fall. Otherwise ride trends: if TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) has its 5‑day avg above its 22‑day avg, buy TQQQ; else if TECL (3x tech) passes, buy TECL; else hold SOXX (semiconductors). Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: annualized return 64.7% vs 18.0% for the S&P; Sharpe 1.24 vs 1.03; Calmar 1.53. Strong risk-adjusted upside with volatility hedge; note larger drawdowns (~42% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
