This strategy checks the market every day. If the S&P 500 is in a long-term uptrend, it usually buys a 2x S&P 500 fund, but steps aside into Treasury funds or other defenses when stocks look too overheated. If the market is weak, it shifts to tech rebound trades, the Nasdaq, a fund that benefits when the Nasdaq falls, or safer bond/cash-like holdings.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
