About

A daily, rule-based rotator that flips between leveraged tech/semis, bond trades, volatility, ARKK, and bitcoin ETFs using “overbought/oversold” and macro trend checks. It chases short-term moves and mean reversion. Extremely high risk and turnover.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks two things: 1) are stocks “hot” or “washed out” lately, and 2) are bonds and commodities signaling risk-on or risk-off? • Hot stocks → often buys volatility (UVXY) or flips short. • Washed out + friendly bonds → buys 3x tech/semis (SOXL, TQQQ, TECL). • Rising rates → favors TMV and equity shorts; falling rates → TMF and growth. It also runs mini playbooks for ARKK (TARK/SARK) and bitcoin (BITO/BITI). Uses 2x–3x ETFs; very risky.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this daily tactical rotator targets ~58% annualized return vs ~23% S&P, with Sharpe ~1.40 and Calmar ~2.76. Higher upside from tech/volatility/ARKK/crypto, with ~21% drawdown vs ~19% for SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
