About

Daily, rules-based swing: buy leveraged Nasdaq/tech on dips (RSI ~35), switch to volatility hedges when markets run hot, and use inverse or bonds in sharp selloffs. Otherwise sit in managed futures/defensive mixes. High tech tilt, high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a short‑term “speedometer” (RSI). If Nasdaq/tech fell fast (RSI ~35 or lower), it buys 3x tech/Nasdaq funds (e.g., TQQQ/TECL) to catch rebounds. If major indexes/sectors look too hot (RSI near 80), it flips to a volatility fund (UVXY) that jumps when stocks drop. In sharp stock/bond selloffs it may use inverse funds (SQQQ, TMV) or short‑term bonds (BSV). If no extremes, it parks in KMLM (managed futures) or a calm mix (FTLS, KMLM, UUP).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows negative returns and larger drawdowns vs the S&P 500. This strategy should be viewed as a tactical overlay for diversification and downside protection when volatility spikes, not as a core equity driver.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
