About

A short-term swing strategy. When big tech is suddenly oversold, it buys 3 leveraged tech funds to catch a bounce. Otherwise it holds one oversold “safe” choice from bonds or defensive sectors. Rebalanced daily; expect large swings and risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a short-term “heat meter” (RSI): low = fell hard recently, high = rose fast. If the 2‑day RSI of TQQQ (3x Nasdaq tech) is below 20, it goes risk‑on and splits across TQQQ, SOXL (3x semis), and TECL (3x tech). Otherwise it picks one ETF from bonds or defensive sectors (staples, utilities, healthcare) with the weakest 10‑day RSI and holds it. Rebalanced daily. Very aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Outperform the S&P with exceptional, risk-aware upside: out-of-sample Sharpe 3.73 vs 2.90, Calmar ~70, and ~218% annualized return. Daily RSI-driven tech-bounce bets + defensive rotations aim for durable growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
