About

Buys 3x tech funds after a sharp short‑term drop in the Nasdaq; otherwise holds a mix of T‑Bills, 3x short long‑bonds, 3x utilities, and 2x gold. Equal‑weighted, rebalanced daily. Very aggressive and volatile.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 0–100 “oversold” score (a 2‑day RSI) on TQQQ (a 3x fund tied to the Nasdaq). If that score is under 20, it splits equally into TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SOXL (3x Semiconductors), and TECL (3x Technology). Otherwise it splits equally into BIL (T‑Bills), TMV (3x short long‑Treasuries), UTSL (3x Utilities), and UGL (2x Gold). Rebalanced daily. Uses leveraged ETFs (2–3x); high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~103% annualized return vs ~19% S&P 500, Sharpe ~2.45 vs 1.57, Calmar ~10.74; max drawdown ~9.57% vs ~5.07%. Higher risk, but far stronger risk-adjusted performance and upside potential.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
