About

Buys short‑term dips in tech using a 2‑day “hot/cold” score on a 3x Nasdaq ETF. If deeply oversold, it holds three 3x tech funds; otherwise it parks in one oversold bond or defensive‑sector fund, updating choices daily.
NutHow it works
Daily: it checks a 2‑day RSI (0–100 “hot/cold”; low = just fell fast) on TQQQ, a 3x Nasdaq‑100 ETF. If RSI<20, split equally into 3x tech: TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100), SOXL (semis), TECL (tech). Else put 100% into the single ‘safer’ ETF with the lowest 10‑day RSI, chosen from bonds (BSV, TLT, LQD, SPAB, VBF, ANGL) and defensive sectors: XLP (staples), UGE (2x staples), XLU (utilities), XLV (health care).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe 7.01 vs SPY 2.15; alpha ~1.95%; Calmar ~239; annualized return ~746% vs SPY ~23.6%. RSI-driven daily rotation: tech dips, bonds/defensives for risk-adjusted growth beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
