About

A simple RSI-based two-asset toggle: if TECL’s 21-day RSI < AGG’s 21-day RSI, invest 100% in TECL (levered tech); otherwise, move to BIL (cash-like short-term Treasuries). No regular rebalancing; small churn buffer. High-risk due to leverage, with a cash-like fallback. Uses TECL, AGG, and BIL (not a spread over KMLM or other ETFs).
NutHow it works
Here’s how it works in plain language: - The strategy watches two things every signal period: TECL (tech sector, levered 3x) and AGG (broad bond market). - For each asset, it looks back over the last 21 trading days to calculate a momentum score called RSI (roughly, how strong the price has been lately). - If TECL’s 21-day RSI is lower than AGG’s 21-day RSI, the strategy places all your capital into TECL (you’re fully invested in the leveraged tech ETF). - If TECL’s 21-day RSI is not lower than AGG’s RSI, the strategy moves all your capital into BIL (a cash-like short-term Treasury ETF). - There is no ongoing rebalancing unless a signal flips; there’s a small 5% corridor to avoid excessive switching. - The position is effectively a binary choice: either a leveraged tech position or a cash-like position, not a diversified mix. What this means for you: - You’re betting on a rebound in TECL only when its momentum is weaker than bonds (per RSI comparison). - If bonds show relatively stronger momentum, you park in cash via BIL. - TECL can magnify gains and losses because it’s levered; BIL aims to preserve capital with low risk but low return. - The strategy is compact and not a broad diversification approach; it’s a tactical, momentum-based switch between two very different risk profiles.
CheckmarkValue prop
RSI-driven, two-asset switch between levered tech (TECL) and cash (BIL) aims for big upside with built-in risk control. Out-of-sample annualized return ~63%, solid risk metrics vs. S&P 500, and cash fallback for stress.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
