RSI Frankenfest w/Safe Sectors

About

Tech‑heavy, trend‑first daily strategy. In uptrends it leans into 2x Nasdaq (plus occasional 3x bounces). If safety signals flash, it parks in one defensive sector or bond fund. Uses RSI for short‑term timing and KMLM/transports as risk gates.
NutHow it works
1) Trend check: if QQQ is above its 200‑day avg, we’re on offense; if not, hold 1 “safe” pick (staples/utilities/health care/bonds) that’s most oversold. 2) In uptrends: if QQQ is short‑term oversold (RSI = 0–100 read of recent ups vs downs; low=oversold), buy the 2 strongest 2x–3x tech/market funds. 3) Else keep 20% in 2x QQQ (QLD). The other 80% stays in 2x QQQ unless safety checks flip (tech vs KMLM; transports vs S&P); then use the single safe pick.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-heavy, rule-based strategy that rides Nasdaq uptrends and opportunistically buys oversold bounce plays, with a defense gate to safe assets. In out-of-sample testing it delivers solid risk-adjusted performance (Calmar ~1.55; Sharpe ~0.53) and diversification beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
