About

A tech‑tilted, daily‑rebalanced strategy. It’s aggressive only when the Nasdaq uptrend is intact and tech beats a managed‑futures yardstick, with 20% always in 2x Nasdaq and occasional short‑term bursts into leveraged ETFs on deep dips; otherwise it parks in a single defensive bond/defensive‑sector fund.
NutHow it works
Daily steps: 1) Is QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) above its long‑term trend (200‑day avg)? If not, hold one defensive fund (bonds or staples/utilities/healthcare), choosing the one most “washed out” recently. 2) If yes, is tech (XLK) stronger than KMLM (a managed‑futures diversifier)? If not, stay defensive. 3) If yes, then: if a 3x Nasdaq fund (TQQQ) is very short‑term oversold (RSI≈speedometer 0–100; <20=washed out), buy a 50/50 mix of the two most volatile leveraged funds (e.g., TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO/QLD). Otherwise, keep 20% in QLD (2x Nasdaq) and put 80% either in QLD (if credit is firm or transports lead) or in one defensive pick. Rebalance daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample track record shows this tech‑tilted, daily‑rebalanced strategy delivering higher risk‑adjusted returns and meaningful downside protection versus the S&P 500, thanks to trend filters, selective Nasdaq leverage, and a disciplined defensive hedge.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
