A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, RSI-driven tactical asset-allocation that shifts among UVXY, TECL, QYLD, SSO, and VOO, defaults to VOO, to reduce drawdown while chasing selective upside through momentum signals.
NutHow it works
Every trading day, the system scores market momentum using simple RSI readings on SPY, QQQ, and VOO. If momentum is extremely strong (RSI > 80) on SPY or QQQ, it moves into UVXY as a hedge. If not, it may tilt to leveraged tech (TECL) when tech looks oversold. If those signals aren’t met, it may select QYLD or SSO based on VOO’s RSI, otherwise it defaults to VOO for broad market exposure. Only one ETF is held each day, and holdings are adjusted daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~31% vs ~15% for the S&P 500; Calmar ~1.17 signals strong risk-adjusted gains. Daily RSI-driven tilts hedge volatility (UVXY) and target upside with TECL/SSO, offering growth with risk controls.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
